Exercise in modeling and texturing - Gloomwood Hunstmen/Woodsmen

When replaying Gloomwood a week back I noticed how odd the Huntsmen/Woodsmen looked in comparison to the recent enemy models, so I decided to try my hand at tinkering them to fit the current visuals of the game. The main goal was to keep their original visual identity, while updating their models and textures to reflect the current art style of Gloomwood enemies.

Funnily enough the texture resolutions are the same as the originals, even if the new textures are painted from scratch. The models were made from the ground up with the originals acting as guiding shapes for the size.

The triangle count didn't increase dramatically, the original models are at ~ 900 triangles, where as the new models have ~ 1600. This is mostly due to me adding opposable thumbs to the Huntsmen's hands, a exotic new concept in the city of Gloomwood
